    Disposition:

    • Serious/Uptight. Dimitri tends to approach everything with a certain sense of gravity. Due to his role as heir to throne and now king, he grew up scrutinized more than others around him might be. While he can be genuine and sincere to a fault, he oftentimes apologizes for speaking the truth as if he shouldn't. While he appreciates others being frank with him, he can get quite flustered (or, on the flipside, angry) when pushed about what he actually thinks and feels.

    • Chivalrous. While he may not have the social graces now that he did in his youth, Dimitri was still raised with the ideals and beliefs of chivalry. Being brought up in the Holy Kingdom of Faerghus meant that it was ingrained in him from an early age what a knight, or in his case a future king, should be. It was expected of him to hold a certain image of propriety and selflessness.

    • Mental instability. Unfortunately, chivalry ended up being a double-edged sword that sliced him through. One noteworthy consequence of this is that he suffers from survivor's guilt after losing his family in the Tragedy as Duscur. He felt and still feels sometimes as though there were others far more deserving than him who should have lived. As a result of his guilt, he hallucinates the ghosts of his family members and claims they speak to him.

    • Self-loathing. When he succumbed to his inner demons, Dimitri felt like a failure to his family, to his people, and to himself. The toxic, pervasive notion of the chivalrous man that he believed he fell short of led him down a dark path of self-hatred. He did not care for anything but bloodshed and vengeance; he embraced the monster that he had become and killed to try and appease the cries of his late family. Even now, despite trying to atone and be a better man than he was, Dimitri still has a low opinion of himself and can struggle with his sense of self-worth and feeling deserving of any good things.

Under pressure: When first met, it is mentioned that Dimitri has darkness lurking beneath his surface. While he tries his best to maintain the image of a calm, composed and put together prince in his youth, it isn't long before this mask starts to crack. He talks about being plagued by stress headaches and unable to sleep. When he is confronted with who he believes to be the killer of his family, he loses himself to his rage and desire for vengeance. This shows that Dimitri can be volatile, unpredictable, and downright savage when pushed to his edge. It is very likely he might struggle a bit in Noctium if forced out of his comfort zone. Yet, he has also shown an ability to overcome and, at his current canon point, a desire to try and better himself.

Condition upon arrival: He is recovering from battle wounds, but they are nothing life-threatening and he would have refused healing of them anyway.

    Abilities:
    • Crest of Blaiddyd. The Faerghus royal family’s Crest, inherited from Blaiddyd of the 10 Elites. Occasionally doubles Atk and weapon uses for combat arts. The downside is that weapon durability goes down faster because of this so he breaks things easy.
    • Great Lord. This is Dimitri's "class" but basically all that means he's good at using swords, lances, and has natural authority.
    • Royal Lineage. In game, this will translate to him learning his powers just a little bit faster/easier!
    • Charm. Those around him have a 10% chance of avoiding attacks better and their own attacks are more accurate.
    • Lancefaire. He's good with that lance.
    • Defiant Strength. Kind of what it says on the tin, when he's injured or struggling he'll get a sort of second wind of strength.
    • General. He tends to have a natural command and can better lead/protect troops.
    • Atrocity. A combart art (attack) unique to Dimitri and his relic weapon.

    Inventory:
    • Areadbhar. His sickass bone lance.
    • Armor. He'll have come in wearing his trademark edgelord armor and eyepatch.

    Gembond: Sapphire
Gem Location: On his chest, beneath the blue 'x' across his armor
